Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in Las Vegas near Bruce Trent Park 

An unidentified 79-year-old man was killed as the result of a two-vehicle collision on Thursday evening. 

Reports stated that the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on January 13th in West Las Vegas near Bruce Trent Park.

A Chevrolet Silverado which was driven by a 39-year-old woman, occupied with three teenagers, was making a turn onto southbound Rampart Boulevard. 

The man was traveling in a Toyota Camry heading north on Rampart Boulevard at the same time.

As a result of the Silverado turning in front of the Camry’s path, both vehicles collided. 

Upon impact all occupants of the Silverado sustained injuries and were taken to Summerlin Hospital via ambulance. 

The male driver of the Camry sustained major injuries and was rushed to UMC Trauma. 

Unfortunately, the 79-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. His name is being withheld pending notification of kin.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is actively investigating the collision.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
