Joseph Spencer Dies in Crash on Airline Highway near Pinnacles Ranch
Joseph Spencer died in a pedestrian accident on Airline Highway near Pinnacles Ranch.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a silver truck hit a 77-year-old male pedestrian.
As a result of the accident, Spencer, of Paicines, passed away from his injuries. Authorities learned that he was trying to open a gate when the silver truck slammed into him.
After the crash, authorities questioned the driver, but CHP officers did not believe impairment factored into the accident.
