Man Dies in Fatal Car Crash on Highway 79
Police are actively investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Saturday morning, November 20th.
David Land, 73, died as the result of two vehicles colliding head-on on Highway 79.
The incident occurred at 5:25 a.m. near Sage Road, according to CHP.
It is unclear at this time what led to the traffic accident.
Due to the impact, car parts and tires were left scattered across the roadway.
Sadly, David Land died as a result. An additional person also sustained injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.
