1 Sustains Minor Injuries After San Diego Car Accident on 5 Freeway and Sorrento Valley Road

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that injured one person on Tuesday afternoon in San Diego.

According to the CHP officials, the collision happened at around 4:21 p.m. on November 15, on the 5 Freeway and Sorrento Valley Road off-ramp.

Police said that six vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

Emergency teams and medics arrived at the accident location to aid at least one person hurt in the accident. The total number of patients was not immediately released.

The vehicles blocked lane 2 due to the crash. The cars were towed away from the accident scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
