Fatal Collision on 118 Freeway 

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has identified Jose Mora as the man who was killed in a Monday morning collision. 

The fatal accident occurred on January 24th around 7:30 a.m. within the westbound lanes of SR-118. 

CHP reported that a cargo truck struck a white car that was pulled over as its driver was changing a tire. 

Mora became trapped inside the vehicle upon impact and sadly died at the scene. 

Two other men sustained major injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment. 

Authorities also issued a SigAlert around 8 a.m. due to traffic congestion.
