4 Hospitalized Following A Fresno DUI Crash
An entire family of four sustained injuries after a suspected DUI car crash on Sunday evening. The crash happened on Highway 145 and Clinton Avenue.
According to authorities, an intoxicated driver of a Jeep was traveling around 60 mph. The motorist lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway. At about 7:30 p.m. the Jeep crashed into the front yard of a home.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a boy ejected from the car. The boy and another juvenile passenger were immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment. Authorities also airlifted a 28-year-old mother to Community Regional Medical Center. The 34-year-old driver, believed to be the father, only had minor injuries.
An investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
