Multiple Vehicles Collide near Mira Mesa Boulevard

Three vehicles were involved in a collision in San Diego on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, the crash occurred on January 6th at 2:56 p.m. on the 805 Freeway.

A pickup truck, Honda, and Mazda collided at the center divider within the southbound lanes for unknown reasons.

Upon impact, the truck and one of the other vehicles became stuck together.

In addition, the crash resulted in debris being scattered across the freeway.

It is also unclear at this time if and how many people were left with injuries.

An active investigation is underway.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
