Greyhound Bus Accident Reported in Visalia, CA

Twenty-four people were left with injuries following a Greyhound bus crash in Visalia on Wednesday. 

The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Highway 99 on August 3rd. 

Per CHP, the driver went into the right shoulder then struck a fence, ending up in a parking lot. 

24 of the 34 passengers were hurt and two of them suffered severe injuries. 

Neither drugs or alcohol were believed to have factored into the accident. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
