South Coast Highway Collision Results in Serious Injuries
An unidentified 21-year-old man suffered severe injuries following a traffic collision in Oceanside Sunday afternoon.
The accident occurred on January 30th just before 2 p.m.
Per reports, the man was traveling south on South Coast Highway in a Volkswagen hatchback near Leonard Avenue.
It is unclear how, but the man collided with another vehicle and then a tree, according to police.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and performed CPR. The man was hospitalized and left in critical condition.
Additionally, the other vehicle was occupied by a woman and boy and they were left unharmed.
Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
