2 Hurt in Vallejo Car Accident on Highway 37 near 80 FWY

Two people were hurt in a car accident that happened Thursday afternoon on a highway in Vallejo, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at about 5:13 p.m. on eastbound Highway 37 under the 80 Freeway connector.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident, blocking traffic lanes.

Two people sustained unspecified injuries in the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.

CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
