Minor Injury Crash in Pleasant Grove on State Route Highway 99

A semi-truck and a pickup were involved in a crash Friday morning on Highway 99 at Sankey Road in Pleasant Grove.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound State Route 99 about 8:32 a.m. on Dec. 2nd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The drivers of a Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a big rig truck are involved.

Paramedics with the Sutter Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash. One person suffered minor injuries in the crash. An ambulance took the person to a hospital for follow-up care.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
