Two Vehicles Collided In Yreka and Leaves 1 Dead
The deadly collision took place on September 13th at 12:20 p.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Hornbrook.
According to CHP, both vehicles blocked the No. 2 lane and due to the impact, one caught fire.
As a result of the collision, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, however their name has yet to be disclosed.
It is also unknown what caused the crash and how many people were involved.
Witnesses are urged to contact authorities with any helpful information.
