Collision Involving Two Semi-Trucks and a Car

Two semi-trucks and a car collided in Wasco on Friday morning, killing one unidentified person. 

The deadly crash happened at about 7:14 a.m. at the intersection of Sherwood Avenue and Wildwood Road, per reports. 

It is currently not clear what led up to the crash between a Mazda coupe and two semi-trucks. 

When firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene, one person was pronounced dead. 

In addition, one of the trucks was carrying pistachios which spilled into the roadway along with diesel fuel.

A portion of Wildwood Road was shut down by police for a period of time since the vehicles were blocking the roadway. 

Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
