Highway 32 Accident Leaves 1 Dead
Two vehicles collided head-on in Tehama County on November 9th on Highway 32.
Authorities are actively investigating what led up to the fatal crash on Tuesday.
Due to the impact, one of the involved vehicles was sent flying over the embankment.
One person unfortunately died and two others were injured as a result.
Additional information will be released once an investigation is concluded.

A 2017 study showed that 58% of head-on collisions result in a fatality. Within this study results also showed that head-on collisions are more likely to occur in a rural area rather than urban areas. More specifically on two-lane highways and are oftentimes the result of a failed passing maneuver.
Head-on collisions are without a doubt the most dangerous types of crashes. They may only account for 2% of accidents, however they make up 10% of all deadly crashes.
