1 Killed, 1 Injured in Palmdale Collision Near 30th Street West
A car accident left one person dead and another injured near 30th Street West and Montera Avenue in Palmdale, CA.
According to the The Antelope Valley Times, the fatal crash happened on Friday afternoon at around 2:25 p.m.
The wreck began when a white Porsche Cayenne was traveling south on 30th Street West in Palmdale. Meanwhile, a green Ford Mustang was traveling north.
According to Palmdale authorities, the Mustang made a left turn onto Montera Avenue when both cars collided.
Emergency crew arrived and soon after pronounced the 65-year-old man driving the Mustang dead at the scene.
The driver of the Porsche, a 49-year-old Palmdale man, sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, authorities had to close the area of 30th Street West and Montera Avenue. The cause of the fatal Palmdale crash is still being investigated.
