1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 26 near Alpine Road in Stockton

One person was injured in a car crash that happened in Stockton on Thursday morning.

The collision was reported at around 4:43 a.m. on Highway 26 near Alpine Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A white pickup truck and a second car were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
