Santa Barbara Crash on HWY 101 Injured 1

At least one person sustained minor injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on Monday morning in Santa Barbara, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred a while after 7:00 a.m. November 7, on southbound Highway 101 near Gaviota Tunnel.

Police confirmed multiple cars, including a dump truck, crashed for reasons yet to be determined. 

Firefighters and medics responded to the scene to aid at least one individual hurt due to the collision. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately provided.

No further details concerning this incident were released.

An investigation is underway.
