1 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on 110 Freeway

A motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles on Monday morning.

The accident happened at around 6 a.m. on the 110 Freeway near the 105 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A vehicle reportedly struck a motorcycle on the roadway in unclear circumstances. The motorcyclist landed in the express lanes after the collision.

Officials say as many 10 other vehicles collided in the area after the initial crash.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
