1 Hurt in San Diego Accident on El Cajon Boulevard

One person was injured in a crash that took place in the Teralta East neighborhood on Wednesday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The wreck happened in the 3600 block of El Cajon Boulevard shortly after 10:30 p.m. December 13.

Police said a 66-year-old man was driving a Toyota Camry east on El Cajon Boulevard when he collided with an eastbound Mitsubishi Galant ES driven by a 44-year-old woman.

The impact caused the Camry to spin and it struck a parked vehicle.  The Camry was pinned under the parked vehicle, which also collided with two other parked cars.

The driver of the Camry was hospitalized with a fractured femur and facial lacerations.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities said DUI was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.

The San Diego Police Department is investigating the wreck.
