1 Injured in Car Accident in Santa Ana

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that left at least one person injured on Monday morning in Santa Ana.

The accident was reported at around 11:04 a.m. on westbound 91 Freeway near Lakeview Avenue, according to a CHP report.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
