Man Injured in Modesto, CA

One was hospitalized after a car crash at Carpenter Road and Keyes Road in Modesto. The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on July 12 at about 5:37 p.m.

According to CHP, a Chevrolet pickup truck and an SUV collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. They crashed at the intersection of South Carpenter Road and West Keyes Road.

The report log said the SUV flipped onto its side upon impact. The Chevrolet sustained front-end damage while the other car ended up with major rollover damage. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Ceres area. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the patient to the Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Carpenter and Keyes roads to close following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Modesto crash.
