1 Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run

There was a suspected hit-and-run accident that happened in Bakersfield Tuesday afternoon, June 8.

Authorities responded to the site at around 3:10 p.m. in the area of Potomac and Quantico avenues. It was reported that at least two vehicles crashed at the intersection under unclear circumstances. Only one vehicle remained at the scene. The occupant of the car was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The crash resulted in the closure of the intersection. Meanwhile, investigators are still looking into more evidence on the vehicle that fled the scene.
