Costa Mesa, California. December 2nd, 2021

JT Legal Group, a law corporation that specializes in personal injury obtained $1.25 million from a rear end. This litigation arose out of a rear-end collision that occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m on 12, September 2017. 

The victim, who was in a silver 2014 Hyundai Elantra, was driving home from work with two other passengers when she encountered traffic. The victim was at a stoplight, when the light turned green, drivers in the lane accelerated, but had to immediately stop due to the traffic ahead. The defendant, driving a 2014 Audi Q7, was unable to stop in time, causing them to collide with our client’s vehicle. The impact of the collision was so hard it left the victim’s vehicle inoperable, and had to be towed.

Upon impact, our client was forcefully jolted backward, which caused her to slam her head against the headrest. She immediately felt pain and stiffness in her neck, pain in her arms and left leg. Our client was forced to miss work due to the injuries of the accident and had difficulties conducting her day to day tasks. 

About 29 percent of all car crashes are rear-end collisions. These crashes result in a substantial number of injuries and fatalities each year. In fact, roughly 1.7 million rear-end collisions take place in the United States each year.
